Conference champions finish season with 24-5 record

The West Lincoln Rebels had a five-game win streak snapped and were knocked out of the 2A state baseball playoffs with a fourth-round, 6-1 loss to Smoky Mountain on Tuesday.
The Rebels scored their lone run of the game in the bottom of the seventh on a two-out single by Dalton Towery, scoring Houston Gilmore.
Smoky Mountain scored two runs in the top of the first, had a three-run homer in the third and scored one run in the seventh.
Smoky Mountain will face Piedmont in the best-of-three regional championship series. Piedmont defeated Randleman 5-2 on Tuesday.
