A small gesture
My brother in-law, Larry Colvard, passed away last Monday. His funeral was held Thursday at Warlick’s chapel. He was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery. As the funeral procession went through Boger City, I then realized what a great city and state we live in. All the utility workers working on the power lines through Boger City stopped working and removed their hard hats, placing them over their hearts as the processing went by. This was a very touching moment for the family grieving from their loss.
I hope at least one of these utility workers reads this and passes it on to all the others to let them know how much this meant to the family. Sometimes a small gesture of respect can mean so much to so many. Thank you and God bless each one of you.
