Medicare fraud event
The North Carolina Senior Medicare Patrol Program will host a free event on how guard against Medicare fraud, waste and abuse 10 a.m. at the Citizens Center in Lincolnton. VFW cross lighting
The Lincolnton VFW Post 1706 will host their Annual Memorial Day Luminary Cross lighting service 7 p.m. at 1306 Country Club Rd. in Lincolnton. Camp Loy White
The application deadline to attend Kid’s Kingdom at Camp Loy White in Casar, N.C., is May 31. The date was extended from May 25. Camp dates are June 24-28 and July 2-26.
