Reep chosen as state finalist in pageant

Miss McKensie Reep, age 15, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss North Carolina Pageant, to be held July 6 at the  Marriott in Winston-Salem. The pageant is held for girls age 13 through 15. McKensie is the daughter of Tony and Renee’ Reep of Crouse. Her grandparents are Joe and Doris Wilson of Iron Station and Peggy Reep of Denver.
The National American Miss pageants are for “Today’s Girl” and “Tomorrow’s Leaders.” The pageant seeks to recognize the accomplishments of each girl, while encouraging her to set goals for the future.
Miss Reep’s activities include singing in the chorus club at West Lincoln High School, reading, softball, swimming, music and dancing.
Miss Reep’s sponsors include Gail Broome Insurance, West Express, K & P Trucking, Dr. Todd Hamilton, Lincoln Auto Tag Department, Automotive Equipment Company, Bennett’s Automotive, Finger’s Florist, South Fork Industries, Inc., Eddy’s Auto Parts, Jerry’s One Stop and The Home Place Restaurant.
