Ashley Lane Honeycutt and Cale William Walker were united in marriage at WinMock at Kinderton, Bermuda Run on February 24, 2013. Pastor Doug Taubin officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of David and Ruth Honeycutt of High Point. Grandparents are Bobby and Nancy Honeycutt, Mary Alice Honeycutt, and the late Wayne Honeycutt, which was honored with a rose. She is a 2005 graduate of Wesleyan Christian Academy, 2008 graduate of Randolph Community College with an Associate Degree in Interior Design, 2013 graduate of Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design. She is a member of First Wesleyan in High Point.
The groom is the son of Billy and Beth Walker of Newnan, Ga., formerly of Lincolnton, and the grandson of Ruth Carpenter Gillenwater. He is a 2002 graduate of East Lincoln High School, 2008 graduate of U.S. Army Aviation Center, 2012 graduate of U.S. Federal Aviation Administration Air Traffic Control Academy, and is employed as an FAA Air Traffic Controller at Asheville Regional Airport. He is a member of Victory Grove Baptist Church, Lincolnton.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, David Honeycutt. Olivia Honeycutt (bride’s sister) served as the Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Danielle Caldwell (bride’s cousin), Caroline Graeub (bride’s best friend) and Casey Walker (groom’s sister). Junior Bride was Ava Honeycutt (bride’s daughter).
Best man was Mitch Hendricks (friend of the groom). Groomsmen were Eric Perkins and Darian Perkins (friends of the groom).
The wedding was directed by Alice Caldwell (bride’s aunt).
A reception was located at WinMock at Kinderton, Bermuda Run. The rehearsal dinner was held at Carrabba’s at Winston-Salem, hosted by the groom’s parents.
A wedding shower was hosted by the bride’s family and church, and a bridal breakfast was hosted by Becky Holfield and Alice Caldwell (bride’s aunts).
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. the couple and daughter, Ava reside in Asheville.
