Criminal Charges — 4-29-13

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

  • Tonya Lynn Vance, 36, of 6243 Helens Way in Denver was charged April 23 with one count of shoplifting. No bond was set.
  •  Michael Lee Brigman, 23, of 1481 Depot St. in Iron Station was charged April 23 with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture a schedule IV controlled substance and sell or deliver a schedule IV controlled substance. A $50,000 bond was set.
  •  Brittany Nicole Bond, 21, of 1626 Green Acres Rd. in Lincolnton was charged April 23 with three counts each of possession with intent to sell/deliver a counterfeit controlled substance and sell or deliver a schedule IV controlled substance along with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute a schedule IV controlled substance and sell or deliver a schedule IV controlled substance. A $9,500 bond was set.
  •  Jeremy Lynn Owens, 29, of 5921 Little Mountain Rd. in Sherrills Ford was charged April 23 with one count each of driving while license revoked, speeding and displaying a fictitous registration plate. A $500 bond was set.
  •  Joshua Edward Burns, 19, of 3805 E. N.C. 27 in Iron Station was charged April 23 with one count each of assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer and possession of drug paraphernalia. A $2,500 secured bond was set.
  • Shannon Wayne Webb, 39, of 201 Stockwood Ln. in Stanley was charged April 24 with one count of non-support family. A $1,000 cash bond was set.

The Lincolnton Police Department reported the following arrests:

  •  Christopher Michael Powell, 40, of 406 Huss St. in Lincolnton, was charged April 25 with one misdemeanor count each of failure to appear for DWI, failure to appear for failure to maintain lane control, failure to appear for hit/run leaving the scene of property damage and failure to appear for operating a vehicle without insurance. A $1,600 secured bond was set.
  • Elizabeth Kay Grant, 46, of 2336 Salem Ch. Rd. in Lincolnton was charged April 25 with one misdemeanor count of second-degree trespassing. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
