Four Lincolnton High School students had a run-in with the law on Friday, according to a police report.

School Resource Officer B. Hunsucker said officers located the teens skipping school in an area on Highland Drive, and when they approached the suspects, they ran from the scene on Monday.

Police said the teens were involved in some sort of drug activity and were each arrested on a charge of resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer.

Suspects included Francisco Javier Velazquez, 16, of 1073 Bethel Church Road, Victor Trujillo Lopez, 16, of 1007 Grazing Meadows Court and Alonso Garcia, 16, and Silvano Randy Garcia, 16, both of 230 McAlister Road.

Alonso Garcia received an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, the report said.

All four have since posted bond, Lopez and Velazquez each on a $300 secured bond and Alonso Garcia on a $400 secured bond. Police said Silvano Garcia received a custody bond in the incident and was released to his parents.
