Yard sale
Ethelene Leatherman’s annual spring yard sale benefiting local missions will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2600 Keever Dairy Farm Rd. in Lincolnton. Several clothing items will be for sale for $0.50 as well as hot dogs.

Bingo

Blood drive
Community Blood Center of the Carolinas will host  a blood drive 12-3 p.m. at Sabo USA Inc., 1001 Lincoln County Pkwy. in Lincolnton and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at East Lincoln High School, 6471 N.C. 73 in Denver. Hot dogs & music
Buffalo Shoals Community Center, 1834 Buffalo Shoals Rd. in Lincolnton, will host a hot dog sale 4-8 p.m. followed by acoustic music 6-9 p.m. No alcohol will be allowed. Individuals who play an instrument are asked to join the fun. Donations will go towards making the facility handicap accessible.

LCHA Conference
The Lincoln County Historical Association and Gaston-Lincoln Genealogical Society’s 2013 Conference will be 6:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Cultural Center. For more information, visit lincolncountyhistory.com.

SATURDAY
“Servants With a Heart”
Volunteers are needed for the “Servants with a Heart Packing Event” April 20 at Lucia Baptist Church, 15434 Lucia Riverbend Hwy. in Stanley. The event is sponsored by the church and the Denver/Lake Norman Rotary Club. Volunteers will prepare 100,000 meals for hungry families both locally and worldwide. New Vision Women’s Ministry will host a yard sale 7 a.m. to noon at 661 Clarks Creek Rd. in Lincolnton. In the event of rain, the sale will move indoors.

Lincoln Charter School, 133 Eagle Nest Rd. in Lincolnton will host their annual spring bazaar 7-11 a.m. Inside and outside spaces are available.
