Criminal Charges — 3-20-13

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

  • Charles Eugene Carpenter Jr., 39, of 2579 Colewood Ln. in Iron Station was charged March 15 with one count of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. No bond was set.
  • Todd Anderson, 41, of 1698 George Brown Rd. in Crouse was charged March 15 with one count of non-support family. An unknown cash bond was set.
  • Jeffrey Marshall Sempler, 58, of 4848 Maralane Trl. in Denver was charged March 15 with two counts of sex offense-intercourse by guardian and one count each of second-degree rape, second-degree sex offense and indecent liberties with a child. A $250,000 secured bond was set.
  • Yancy Venoy Webb, 28, of 1305 Wilma Sigmon Rd. in Lincolnton was charged March 15 with one count of assault on a female by a male over 18 yrs. of age. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
  • Dan Christopher Jenrette, 50, of 1624 Brevard Pl. Rd. in Iron Station was charged March 15 with two counts of resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer and one count each of assault on a female and assault-deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer or government official. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
  • Donald Lee Davis Jr., 43, of 1846 HInes Circle Rd. in Stanley was charged March 16 with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture a schedule III controlled substance and sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance. No bond was set.
  • Eric Lee Sigmon, 40, of 1209 Reepsville Rd. in Lincolnton was charged March 16 with one count of assault on a female. No bond was set.
  • Daniel Nazareth Morales Herna, 22, of 805 Pettus Ln. in Lincolnton was charged March 17 with one count each of discharging firearm into occupied territory, first-degree burglary, communicating threats, assault inflicting serious injury or assault with a deadly weapon and assault on a female by a male over 18 yrs. of age. No bond was set.
  • David Clint Watson, 22, of 638 Oates Rd. in Gastonia was charged March 17 with two counts of driving while license revoked or disqualification non-support and one count of probation violation. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
  • Melvin Deshaun Jefferies, 35, of 609 S. Edwards St. 923 in Lincolnton was charged March 18 with one count each of injury to personal property and assault on a female. No bond was set.
  • Katie Rose Williams, 28, of 411 3rd Ave. SW in Conover was charged March 18 with one count of failure to appear. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
  • Julian Ross Allen, 30, of 221 Hastings Rd. in Bessemer City was charged March 18 with one count each of driving while license revoked, speeding to elude arrest, driving left of center and failure to stop at red light/stop sign. A $150,000 bond was set.
  • Paul Junior Spikes, 51, of 945 N. College St. in Charlotte was charged March 18 with one count of failure to appear. No bond was set.
  • Paige Angelin Medlin, 20, of 1367 Roseland Dr. in Lincolnton was charged March 18 with one count of failure to appear, for which a $3,000 secured bond was set, and one count of fugitive from justice, for which no bond was set.
  • Neely Marvin Bigham, 31, of 240 Mel Ln. in Crouse was charged March 18 with two counts of first-degree sexual offense. A $200,000 bond was set.
  • Timothy Michael Ramsey, 35, of 2381 Rock Dam Rd. in Lincolnton was charged March 18 with one count of assault on a female. A $500 bond was set.
  • Thomas Glen Imler Jr., 38, of 2746 Cobblestone Ln. O in Lincolnton was charged March 18 with one count of communicating threats. No bond was set.
  • Darlene Shoemaker, 46, of 1954 Willis Rd. in Vale was charged March 18 with one count of first-degree trespass. No bond was set.
  • Jeffrey Chad Price, 29, of 3767 E. N.C. 27 in Iron Station was charged March 18 with one count of driving while impaired. A $1,232.50 cash bond was set.
  • Deana Rene McGill, 42, of 228 N. Alexander St. in Mt. Holly was charged March 19 with three counts of failure to appear. A $500 bond was set.
  • Kenneth William Smith, 20, of 1391 Roseland Dr. in Lincolnton was charged March 19 with one count of injury to personal property. No bond was set.

The Lincolnton Police Department reported the following arrests:

  • Derrick Adam Crisp, 30, of 3107 Brady Hoffman Rd. in Lincolnton was charged March 15 with one misdemeanor count each of larceny, injury to personal property and first-degree trespass. A $500 secured bond was set.
  •  Kenneth Randall Crisp, 33, of 3107 Brady Hoffman Rd. in Lincolnton was charged March 15 with one misdemeanor count each of larceny, injury to personal property and first-degree trespass. A $500 secured bond was set.
  •  Harold Eugene Brown, 73, of 515-B W. Main St. in Maiden was charged March 16 with one misdemeanor count each of no operator’s license and safe movement violation. A $1,000 written promise was set.
  •  Paul Earl Weaver, 74, of 4160 Whitener Dr. in Hickory was charged March 16 with one misdemeanor count each of driving while impaired and hit-and-run. An unknown unsecured bond was set.
  • Matthew William Guidroz, 22, of 818 2nd St. Pl. NE Apt. 75 in Hickory was charged March 18 with one felony count of breaking and entering. A $25,000 secured bond was set.
  • Karen Melissa Moss, 59, of 106 Red Oak Dr. in Cherryville was charged March 18 with one misdemeanor count each of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A $1,000 unsecured bond was set.
  • Keith Dwayne Dellinger, 34, of 1813 W. N.C. 150 in Lincolnton was charged March 18 with one misdemeanor count each of larceny and failure to appear for larceny. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
  • Erica Michelle Steakley, 25, of 1615 Siegle Ave. in Gastonia was charged March 18 with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
  • Jacob Paul Sain, 19, of 1251 Hill Rd. in Lincolnton was charged March 19 with one misdemeanor count each of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A $300 secured bond was set.
  • Cheryl Lynn Lingerfelt, 46, of 2552 Southland Trl. in Lincolnton was charged March 19 with one misdemeanor count each of simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance and simple possession of a schedule V controlled substance. A $500 secured bond was set.

 The Lincolnton Police Department reported the following criminal summons:

  • Michael Wayne Grant, 52, whose address is unknown, was issued a criminal summons March 15 for one count of worthless check.
