Deputies: Crouse man sexually assaulted five-year-old girl
A 31-year-old Crouse man sits under a $200,000 secured bond after Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies said they charged him Monday with sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl.
Neely Marvin Bigham, of 240 Mel Lane, knew the child and assaulted her on more than one occasion from December through February, according to an agency press release.
Sheriff’s Detective Dan Renn charged the suspect with two felony counts of first-degree statutory sexual offense.
The Major Crimes Unit initiated an investigation last month after the victim’s family reported the alleged crimes to the Sheriff’s Office, the release said.
Bingham remains in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center.
