MONDAY
Basketball registration
Today is the deadline for teams to register for the Denver Nuggets basketball organization’s Spring Tip-Off Classic, which will be Friday through Sunday. To register, visit www.eteamz.com/denvernuggets1.

College class
Gaston College will host a four-day Basic Skills New Student Orientation class 9 a.m. to noon and 5:30-8:30 p.m. today (March 11) through March 14 and March 25-28 at the Lincoln Campus for students interested in obtaining a GED or Adult High School diploma. GED changes will occur in 2014 including method of testing and rise in cost. Also, partial test scores will expire. For more information, call (704) 748-5226.

Senior Bingo

NARFE

Blood drive

Basketball tryouts
The Denver Nuggets basketball organization will hold tryouts 5-6:30 p.m. at Lucia Baptist Church, 15434 Lucia Riverbend Hwy. in Stanley, for 8th-11th grade boys interested in playing spring/summer AAU basketball. Additional tryouts will be 6-7:30 p.m. March 14.
