Criminal charges — 3-4-13

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

  • Angelique Landry, 40, of 6109 Thermal Rd. in Charlotte was charged Feb. 28 with two counts of failure to appear. A $3,500 secured bond was set.
  • Lorrie Kimberly Griffin, 45, of 1995 Rock Springs Cir. in Denver was charged Feb. 28 with four counts of trafficking heroin and one count of robbery with firearms or other dangerous weapons. A $10,000 secured bond was set.
  • Doris Ann Scism, 50, of 1610 Broome St. in Lincolnton was charged Feb. 28 with one count of communicating threats. No bond was set.
  • Paul Evan Carpenter Jr., 27, of 7772 Caswell Rd. in Stanley was charged Feb. 28 with one count of failure to appear. A $188 bond was set.
  • Christopher Wayne Hensley, 37, of 2722 Hudson Poultry Rd. in Iron Station was charged March 1 with one count each of communicating threats, assault by pointing a gun and simple assault. No bond was set.

The Lincolnton Police Department reported the following arrests:

  • James Andrew Schronce, 23, of 2180 Dale Ave. in Lincolnton was charged Feb. 27 with one felony count each of obtaining property by false pretenses and financial card theft and one misdemeanor count of larceny. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
  • Jesse Wayne Benge, 49, of 1089 N. Franklin Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Feb. 27 with one felony count of possession of a firearm by a felon. A $10,000 unsecured bond was set.
  • Antonio Tarrell Thompson, 25, of 5950 Tucker’s Grove Ch. Rd. in Iron Station was charged Feb. 27 with one misdemeanor count each of having no operator’s license and fictitious registration. A $500 unsecured bond was set.
  • Devron Pierre Anderson, 23, of 3021 Brady Hoffman Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Feb. 28 with one misdemeanor count of domestic violence protective order violation. Bond amount is unknown.
  • Misty Dawn Webb, 30, of 117 Wallace Ln. in Dallas was charged Feb. 28 with one misdemeanor count of aiding and abetting a domestic violence order protection violation. Bond amount is unknown.

The Lincolnton Police Department reported the following criminal summons:

  • Jesse Wayne Benge, 49, of 1089 N. Franklin Rd. in Lincolnton was issued a criminal summons Feb. 27 for one count of worthless check.
