Edmond Samuel Phillips
Edmond Samuel Phillips, age 54, of 1663 Roseland Drive in Lincolnton, died on Friday, February 22, 2013.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Phillips was born March 23, 1958 in Fort Campbell, Ky. to the late William Raymond Andrew Phillips Sr. and Beatrice Jane Elmore Phillips.
He is survived by two daughters, Natasha White of Lincolnton and Heather Rodgers of Cornelius; three brothers, Billy Phillips Jr., Chuck Phillips, and Michael Phillips, all of Lincolnton; and five grandchildren.

Kathryn Lineberger Seagle
Kathryn Lineberger Seagle, age 91, of 317 S. Grove Street in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, February 21, 2013.
Her funeral service was 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Emanuel Reformed Church with Rev. Earl Potts officiating. Burial followed in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family received friends from 2 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Seagle was born November 14, 1921 in Pender County to the late Jim and Addie Clippard Lineberger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Thomas Seagle. She was a cafeteria worker for Lincoln County Schools.
She is survived by her son, Tommy Seagle of the home; three daughters, Kathy Parker, Andy Sigmon, and Amy Tate, all of Lincolnton; one brother, Webb Lineberger of Hardin; eight grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Webb Hunter Lineberger Sr.
DALLAS — Mr. Webb Hunter Lineberger, Sr., age 98, of 232 Fancy Hill Road, Dallas, NC died Saturday, February 23, 2013.
His funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Hardin Community Baptist Church with Rev. Fain Farmer and Rev. Mark Hovis officiating. His body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Hardin Community Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. this evening at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton.
Mr. Lineberger was born on August 28, 1914 in Richmond County, and was the son of the late James R. and Addie Clippard Lineberger. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Friday Lineberger; two sons, Alec Lineberger and Webb Lineberger Jr.; one daughter, Becky Lineberger Sadler; ten brothers and sisters; one grandson, Stevie Lineberger; and one great-granddaughter, Crystal Lineberger. Mr. Lineberger was retired after 40 years as a section boss with Hardin Manufacturing Company.
He is survived by his son, James Steven Lineberger of Dallas, NC; two daughters, Beth Martin of Dallas, NC and Judy L. Mauney of Vale; 12 grandchildren, Louis Lineberger, Kale Lineberger, Kim England, Barbara Wheeler, Susan Godfrey, Cindy Lineberger, Michelle Caskey, David Martin, Clayton Martin, Tracy Bywater, Nicole Black and Andrew Mauney; 29 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Inez Brackett Reep, age 93, of 415 Louise Avenue, Lincolnton died Sunday, February 24, 2013.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton with Rev. Roy Lanier officiating. The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reep was born on August 28, 1919 in Lincoln County and was the daughter of the late John Forest and Kennie Gantt Brackett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Phillip Reep; one brother, Douglas Brackett and sisters, Annie Tallent and Ruby Crockarell Brenson. She was retired from the textile industry.
Mrs. Reep is survived by one son, Paul Mitcheal Reep and wife, Patsy, of Lincolnton; two daughters, Patricia White and husband, C.M., of Lincolnton and Sue Richardson and husband, Gary, of Lincolnton; one brother, Harold Dean Brackett of Vale; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Pauline Swink Millon
Mrs. Pauline Swink Millon, 86, of Creekwood Road, Lawndale passed away February 22, 2013 at Lincoln Nursing Center, Lincolnton.
Born January 8, 1927 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Marion Bud Swink and Edith Smart Swink. She was a homemaker and a member of Ledford Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of almost sixty years, Ivey T.C. Millon; a son, Larry Mellon; grandson, Windal Hoyle; great-grandson, Brandon Mellon and two half- brothers, Vasco Price and Coyet Lee Sparks.
Survivors include three sons, Harold Mellon and wife, Joyce of Vale, Thomas Mellon and wife, Carolyn of Cherryville and Ricky Mellon and wife, Phyllis of Casar; three daughters, Helen Burgess of Connelly Springs, Carolyn McGinnis and husband, Frank of Lincolnton and Marie Johnson and husband, Ricky of Lawndale; daughter-in-law, Kathy Mellon of Shelby; one special grandson, Michael Mellon of Lawndale; eighteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; and nineteen fifth generation grandchildren; sister, Betty Self and husband, Clarence of Lawndale.
Visitation will be this evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. February 26, 2013 at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston with Rev. Danny York, Rev. Jackie Price and Rev. Clyde Price officiating. Burial will be at House of Prayer Cemetery, Fallston.

Joseph Charles Bailey
Joseph Charles Bailey, 79, passed away on February 22, 2013 in Mooresville.
He was born on October 23, 1933 in Springfield, Ill. to the late Orville and Olive Harris Bailey. Joseph joined the Army in 1951 and served his country honorably for 20 years both in the Korean and Vietnam Wars and was the recipient of National Defense Service Medal, Bronze Service Star and the Legion of Merit. He retired in 1971, achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer (CWO3). Joseph married Lillian Louise Hager in 1958. They were happily married for 49 years until her death in 2007.
Joseph is survived by his devoted spouse, Violet of Mooresville; sons, Michael and wife, Jennifer of Mooresville, Patrick and wife, Denice of Lancaster, S.C.; step son, Scott Saxon and wife Jeri of Miami, Fla,; brothers, Dennis Salisbury and wife, Pat of Lincoln, Calif., David Salisbury and wife, Barbara of Madera, Calif., Dean Salisbury and wife, Vicki of Castle Rock, Colo., John Salisbury of Las Vegas, Nev. and Kenneth Salisbury and wife, Betty of Fresno, Calif.; and grandchildren, Jordan Bailey, Alec Bailey and Amanda Saxon.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home at 494 East Plaza Dr., Mooresville, NC, with a memorial service with Rev. Joseph Alghrary officiating to follow. Final Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at later date.

Mr. Jerry Lawrence Ellison, age 69, of 100 Falconview Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, February 21, 2013.
His funeral service was 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Spencer officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery with DAV military rites. The body lied in state for thirty minutes prior to the service. Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Ellison was born January 3, 1944 in Baltimore City, Md. to the late Lawrence and Zola Wriston Ellison. He served in the United States Army and then later worked in textiles. Mr. Ellison served as a Deacon at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Holden Ellison of the home; three sons, Douglas Ellison of W.Va., Todd Ellison of Holly Ridge and Jerry Ellison of Huntersville; two sisters, Norma Severt of Heath, OH and Patricia Sammons of Delaware, OH; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
