D’olier ‘Dee’ Sigmon
Mr. D’olier “Dee” Sigmon, age 82, of Lincolnton died on Friday, February 15, 2013.
A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Sigmon was born in Catawba County on March 4, 1930 and was the son of the late Walter and Dollie Townsend Sigmon. He was also preceded in death by one son, Daryel D. Sigmon. Mr. Sigmon was a retired machinist in the textile industry.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Louise G. Sigmon of the home; one son, Gary B. Sigmon of Lincolnton: three daughters, Diane Sigmon, Debby Lyda and husband James, and Bobbie Reynolds and husband Randy, all of Lincolnton; one brother, John Sigmon of Lincolnton; and six grandchildren, Crystal Gantt of Lincolnton, Dr. Laurie Lea Lyda of Milledgeville, Ga., Jamie Lyda and Devin Lyda, both of Lincolnton, Haley Lynn Lyda of Boone, and Tiffany Sigmon of Newton.

Dawn Renee Thomas
Dawn Renee Thomas, age 37, of 980 Colwick Lane in Lincolnton, died on Friday, February 15, 2013.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at South River Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. this evening at Warlick Funeral Home.
Miss Thomas was born June 5, 1975 in Catawba County to Kenneth Ronald Thomas and Carrie Huffman Clark. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a son, Joshua Baker of the home; three sisters, Tonia Thomas and Sonia Thomas, both of Lincolnton, and Karla Clark of Newton; two brothers, James Clark and Matt Clark, both of Lincolnton; her mother and father, Carrie and Cole Clark of Newton; three uncles, Randy Huffman and Darrell Huffman, both of Lincolnton, and Kevin Huffman of Valdese; and an aunt, Linda Stamey of Lincolnton.

Kathleen Bossie Hull
Kathleen Bossie Hull, 90, of the Brian Center in Lincolnton, formerly of Charleston, W.Va., died February 2, 2013. She was the wife of the late Robert Glenn Hull.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on February 7, 2013 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Burial followed in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Charleston, W.Va. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Harry Taylor, 81, of Denver died February 16, 2013.
A Celebration of Life will be held February 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Webbs Chapel United Methodist Church, Denver. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends February 19, 2013 at Webbs Chapel United Methodist Church from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Coneta Beam Dellinger, 93, of Cherryville died February 16, 2013.
Burial will be today at 3 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church cemetery followed by a memorial service at St. John’s Lutheran Church at 3:30 p.m. The family will receive friends today at the services in the Vida Dellinger Parlor of the church.
