An additional sex-related felony charge has been filed against a Lincolnton man accused last month of sexually assaulting a young girl in 2012, police told the Times-News.
Lincolnton Police detectives charged Terry Lee Wilson, 44, of 901 E. Pine Street, last week with a second count of first-degree sex offense involving the same eight-year-old victim, officers said.
Wilson was arrested Jan. 29 with the first count of sex offense and placed under a $75,000 secured bond.
He now sits in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $150,000 secured bond with his next court appearance set for Tuesday.
The alleged incidents took place at a county residence, detectives said.
The suspect has a history of felony drug-related offenses along with assault, DWI, damage to property and resisting an officer, according to the North Carolina Department of Correction website.
