The Lincoln Charter boys varsity basketball team took its first Piedmont Charter Athletic Conference championship in school history with a 70-41 win over Queens Grant on Wednesday.
Andrew Howard scored 23 points with 10 rebounds for Lincoln Charter in the win. Miles Boone added 19 points with five assists and three steals.
Lincoln Charter took a 13-9 lead after the first quarter, led 24-18 at halftime and scored 46 points in the second half while holding Queens Grant to only two points in the fourth quarter.
Lincoln Charter’s victory was its 12th of the season.
