Business development services company setting up shop in Lincolnton

A new multimedia communications firm will soon be locating an office in Lincolnton, with plans to help boost the area’s economic growth.

Vyzion Business Development Services, which was started more than three years ago in Raleigh by Greg and Stephanie Bailey, will have a Jan. 30 official grand opening of its Lincolnton location at 214 E. Main St.

Greg Bailey was born and raised in Lincolnton, and the couple now lives here with their five children.

“We started in Raleigh, but, since we have had more growth in the Charlotte area with our clientele, we decided to move back to Lincolnton,” Stephanie Bailey told the Times-News.

The business is an Internet-based company that specializes in website design and maintenance, search-engine optimization, video production, graphic design, content development, live streaming, marketing, advertising and event coordination. The company also offers financial services, like mobile tax preparation.

“We have an Internet radio station, www.vyzionradio.com, that brings in (more than) 1.2 million impressions a month,” Bailey noted. “We have (more than) 45 worldwide DJs and a free iPhone and Android ap.”

Vyzion has multiple associates who work for the company globally, she said. However, they are looking to add a few additional sales associates.

The business has also announced via its website that it plans to join forces with the Downtown Development Association (DDA), volunteering both its time and services to help bolster Lincolnton’s economic viability.

“What Vyzion plans to bring to Lincolnton is economic and community growth,” Bailey said.

“We are now linked with the DDA to assist with that growth by providing some of our services. My husband and I feel very serious about growing the small businesses and the community of Lincoln County.”

“We feel that ‘Lovable Lincolnton’ is exactly what it is — lovable — but not everyone can see it because a lot of people do not know about Lincolnton,” she added.

“That’s where we come in. We plan on telling the world who and what Lincolnton, N.C., has to offer.”

“It’s a long time coming for Lincolnton,” Greg Bailey said. “I love this town. I mean, I grew up here, enlisted in the Army, moved around the country and found myself back here with my family and business. Lincolnton is a great place to raise your family and own your business. My job is going to be to make sure the world knows this.”
