Cynthia Ann (Grinels) Reep

Cynthia Ann (Grinels) Reep, age 50, went to her heavenly home on January 11, 2013 to watch her family from above, ending her nine-year battle with Multiple Myeloma.  What kept her fighting so hard for so long was the love for her family; her stepson Titus (21), twin girls Sam & Alex (11), her baby daughter, Jo (8), and the love of her life, her husband, Wayne.  We are all at peace knowing that Cindy’s strong faith and tender heart has delivered her to a more glorious place than we could ever know.  Her positive outlook and fun personality will be greatly missed by her family and friends as we look forward to seeing her again.  Thank you Cindy for being such a light in our life as a Wife, Mother, Sister, Auntie, and Friend, we will miss you terribly.

To celebrate Cindy’s life, services will begin with a receiving of friends Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Sherrills Ford, followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. with interment to follow. We encourage you to come casual.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Cindy Reep Fund c/o Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church at 4136 Mount Pleasant Road, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673 as we will use this to setup college funds and to aid in anticipated upcoming financial needs for her daughters.

We would also like to extend a special thanks to everyone involved in Cindy’s care over the years including Dr. Krumdieck and his staff, Hospice of Iredell County, and Mt. Pleasant UMC, whom we are forever indebted to for their kindness and compassion.
