School Supply Drive
The Lincolnton Lions Club will be collecting school supplies starting 9 a.m. in front of Staple’s, 1623 East Main St. in Lincolnton. Boxes will also be inside King’s Office Supply, 227 East Main St. in Lincolnton, for customers to purchase and drop off school supplies, which will be delivered to area schools. The club will additionally be selling brooms and raffle tickets to benefit Lions Club charities including covering the cost of services for the blind/visually impaired to purchase eyeglasses, eye exams and attend Camp Dogwood for the Blind. Lions are also collecting unused eyeglasses and hearing aids to be recycled overseas.
