The Lincoln County Board of Education will meet for the first time of this year on Tuesday.
One issue under consideration is the board’s regular meeting night.
A resident who addressed the board’s December meeting expressed concern about Wednesday night sessions conflicting with other community activities.
Trying to avoid church events and other officials’ meeting days, board members decided to conduct this month’s board meeting and committees sessions on Tuesdays.
Among other items to be discussed, the board will take action on setting up the calendar for the remainder of the year.
Tuesday’s meeting will be at at 6:30 p.m., tomorrow, at the board’s office, 353 N. Generals Blvd.
The meeting is open to the public.
