MONDAY

Food pantry/clothes giveaway
In My Father’s House Community Support Services will host a food pantry and clothes giveaway 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their Lincolnton facility and a clothes giveaway only 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their new location in Vale. All items will be $1, but if necessary, will be free. For more information or directions, call Ivey Robinson at (704) 419-3298.

Blood drive
Community Blood Center of the Carolinas will host a blood drive 4-7 p.m. at the Denver Fire Department, 3956 N.C. 16 in Denver.

Cookie swap
The West Lincoln Library in Vale will host a cookie swap 6-7:30 p.m. with cookies and hot apple cider. Participants are asked to bring five dozen of their favorite cookies and the recipe. Registration is required. Call (704) 732-0548 for more information.

Charity Cruise
Toys for Tots will host a Charity Cruise 7 p.m. Monday at Queens Landing in Mooresville, near Lincoln County’s eastern end. Cost is $25 or a toy valued at $25 or more. The cruise will be 2 1/2 hours long and include entertainment by a local dance studio and DJ. TUESDAY

Cardio dance
Lincoln County Parks and Recreation will offer a cardio dance class with instructor Jennifer Taylor 9:30 a.m. every Tuesday at East Lincoln Community Center in Denver. There will be no class on Dec. 25. For more information, call the Recreation Department at (704) 748-1518.

Financial Aid Workshop
Lincoln County Schools will host their annual Financial Aid Workshop 7-8:30 p.m. at the James W. Warren Citizens Center in Lincolnton. Timeka Ruffin, a College Foundation representative will present information about financial aid, paying for college and the FAFSA form. Junior and senior students are encouraged to attend the event with their parents.

Open house
United Way of Lincoln County will host an open house event 9-11 a.m.

Cardio dance
Lincoln County Parks and Recreation will offer a cardio dance class 9:30 a.m. every Wednesday at Block Smith Gym in Lincolnton. There will be no class on Dec. 26. For more information, call the Recreation Department at (704) 748-1518.

Mrs. Claus event
The Charles R. Jonas Library in Lincolnton will host “A Visit with Mrs. Claus” at 6:30 p.m. with storytelling and singing. For more information, call (704) 735-8044.

SATURDAY

Christmas program
New Providence Full Gospel Church, 947 George Brown Rd. in Crouse, will host their annual Christmas program at 3 p.m. The dramatic play will be “The Light That Impacts” and will feature food, fun and fellowship.

SUNDAY

Christmas presentation
First Baptist of High Shoals will host the dramatic monologue “The Christmas Shepherd” at 6 p.m. For more information, call the church at (704) 735-5652.
