Two Lincolnton High School students were charged last week with breaking into two Lincolnton residences earlier this month in separate incidents, police said.
On Tuesday, officers arrested Bradley Omar Gonzalez, 17, of 128 Nicholson Rd. in Lincolnton, for allegedly breaking into a home on E. Dixon Street just before 7 p.m. on Nov. 15. The home was last secured three days earlier, a police report said.
The teen is accused of kicking in the back door and stealing a number of guns including two 12-gauge shotguns and a rifle.
He has since been released from the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center on a $10,000 secured bond and faces one felony count each of breaking and entering and larceny.
Damarcus Da’Shaun Dixon, 16, of 329 S. High St. in Lincolnton, still remains in the Lincoln County jail under a $27,000 secured bond for breaking into an area home. Further details on the date and location of the break-in were not available at time of publication.
Dixon faces one felony count each of first-degree burglary, breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
