East Lincoln’s Addison Parrish has committed to play baseball and further his education at Western Carolina University. Addison received a lot of attention after his junior year, when he helped lead the Mustangs to a second consecutive conference championship and hit a .424 batting average with 29 RBIs and 20 runs scored, a .975 fielding percentage and finished 4-0 on the mound with two saves and a .88 ERA. Parrish was named the SPC player of the year, a member of the gold medal winning Powerade Region VI state team and was named All-State. Parrish was recruited by WCU as a first baseman and possible corner outfield player.
