NAACP election

Lions Club
Tammy Loukos, Lincoln & Iredell County social worker with the N.C. Division of Services For The Blind, will speak at the Lincolnton Lions Club meeting 7 p.m. in the Elm Classroom of CMC-Lincoln’s Medical Plaza, 441 McAlister Rd. in Lincolnton. Lions and guest planning to eat in the hospital cafeteria should arrive 30 minutes early.

“Groceries for Golf”
The Lincoln Country Club will host “Groceries for Golf” weekly starting today. Proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Last Man’s Club
The Last Man’s Club WWII Veterans will meet 11 a.m. at the Lincoln House Restaurant. Veterans interested in riding in the Veteran’s Day Parade on Nov. 10 are asked to meet 10:30 a.m. on E. Water St. in Lincolnton.
