Criminal charges — 11-2-12

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

  • Timothy Edgar Alexander, 35, of 3634 Gladden Dr. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 29 with two counts of non-support family. A $561 cash bond was set.
  • Trenton Lee Armstrong, 31, of 412 Grier St. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 29 with one count of resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • Debbie Shannon Watson, 36, of 4825 Reinhardt Cir. in Iron Station was charged Oct. 29 with one count of probation violation. A $25,000 bond was set.
  • Daniel Lloyd Akins, 21, of 5794 Clintwood Dr. in Stanley was charged Oct. 29 with one count each of larceny and injury to personal property. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • Jonathan Ray Creel, 26, of 708 Glenn St. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 29 with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture a schedule I controlled substance and selling or delivering a schedule IV controlled substance. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
  • Edward Leroy York IV, 20, of 135 SJ Crawford Rd. in Lincolnton was served a true bill of indictment Oct. 29 for charges unkown at time of publication. A $5,000 bond was set.
  • Marvin Christopher Neal, 27, of 117 Massapoag Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 29 with one count each of attempt and conspiracy; penalties, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute a schedule VI controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance. A $10,000 bond was set.
  • Angelia Danielle Queen, 28, of 117 Massapoag Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 29 with one count each of attempt and conspiracy; penalties, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute a schedule VI controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance. A $10,000 bond was set.
  • Camille Elyse Yaish, 26, of 1002 Dooley Dr. in Charlotte was charged Oct. 29 with one count each of shoplifting and second-degree trespassing. A $2,000 bond was set.
  • Rahim Jermaine Oates, 21, of 612 2nd St. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 30 with one count of simple assault & battery or affray. No bond was set.
  • Lisa Ann Withers, 29, of 960 George Brown Rd. in Crouse was charged Oct. 30 with two counts each of selling or delivering a schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute a schedule II controlled substance and selling or delivering a schedule II controlled substance. A $15,000 secured bond was set.
  • Joey Allen Smith Jr., 37, of 2571 Thomas Baxter Ln. in Cherryville was charged Oct. 30 with one count of first-degree sexual offense (victim under 13). A $50,000 secured bond was set.
  • Chad Christopher Caldwell, 40, of 2951 Woodfield Ln. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 30 with one count of failure to appear. A $1,000 bond was set.
  • Randy Todd Smith, 44, of 908 Pine St. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 30 with one misdemeanor count of worthless check. No bond was set.
  • Tommy Lee Beal, 27, of 2469 Leonhart Rd. in Cherryville was charged Oct. 31 with one count each of failure to appear and failure to comply. A $12,000 secured bond was set.
  • Melvin Eli Johnson, 24, of 2209 Hudson Landing in Gastonia was charged Oct. 31 with one count of failure to appear. No bond was set.
  • Tosha Marie Hernandez, 28, of 204 River Loop Rd. in Belmont was charged Oct. 31 with one count of financial identity fraud. No bond was set.
  • Timothy Dennis Belton, 24, of 1093 Beagles Run Dr. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 31 with one count of communicating threats. No bond was set.
  • Bobby Joe Childers, 58, of 152 E. Rhodes St. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 31 with two counts of failure to appear. No bond was set.
  • Travis Sentell Goode, 26, of 620 N. Poplar St. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 31 with two counts of possession with intent to manufacture a schedule VI controlled substance along with one count each of weapons possession by felon of firearms, possession of marijuana exceeding 1/2 ounce and maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for a controlled substance. A $25,000 secured bond was set.
  • Garland Lane Cruse, 52, of 1323 Cruse Ln. in Denver was charged Nov. 1 with one count each of driving while impaired, displaying a fictitious registration plate, no financial responsibility, open container-prohibited and operating a vehicle on a highway without a registration or an expired registration. No bond was set.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following criminal summons:

  • Randy Todd Smith, 44, of 908 Pine St. in Lincolnton was served a criminal summons Oct. 30 for 12 counts of misrepresentation to obtain Employment Security Commission benefits.
