Criminal charges — 10-31-12

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

  • Charles Eugene Carpenter Jr., 38, of 2579 Colewood Ln. in Iron Station was charged Oct. 23 with one count of non-support family. A $750 cash bond was set.
  • Erin Morgan Lee Clark, 20, of 408 N. Popular St. in Gastonia was charged Oct. 23 with two counts of probation violation. A $15,000 secured bond was set.
  • Dametris Martin Graham, 23, of 1824 Tomes Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 23 with one count each of resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer, cruelty to animals, injury to personal property and probation violation. A $500 bond was set.
  • Terry Warren Howell, 59, of 10509 Streatham Ln. in Charlotte was charged Oct. 25 with one count each of driving while license revoked, open container-prohibited for driver and possession of drug paraphernalia. A $2,000 bond was set.
  • Sheri Turherow Schronce, 48, of 4499 Herter Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 25 with one count of no financial responsibility and displaying an expired registration plate. No bond was set.
  • Robert Hayes Hunter, 42, of 734 Trinity Ln. in Iron Station was charged Oct. 25 with two counts of resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer and one count each of injury to personal property and assault on a government official. No bond was set.
  • Janie Robinson Plott, 33, of 8541 Lodge South Cir. in Charlotte was charged Oct. 25 with one count of failure to appear, for which a $500 secured bond was set, and charged Oct. 26 with one count of assault on a government official, for which a $1,000 bond was set.
  • Jennifer Elaine Hinson, 30, of 145 Sheel St. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 25 with one count of probation violation. A $10,000 bond was set.
  • David Austin Williams, 21, of 1469 Bumgarner-James Ln. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 25 with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture a schedule IV controlled substance and selling or delivering a schedule IV controlled substance. A $7,500 bond was set.
  • Jacob Matthew Lockman, 24, of 4590 Orchard Rd. in Iron Station was charged Oct. 26 with one count of obtaining property by false pretenses. A $5,000 bond was set.
  • Jonathan Rhyne Carpenter, 25, of 949 Rosebury Ln. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 26 with one count of possession of a schedule III controlled substance. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
  • Anthony Garth Briscoe, 23, of 1729 E. Cornwallis Rd. in Durham was charged Oct. 26 with three counts of failure to appear. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • Dustin Keith Hunsucker, 21, of 2422 Shady Pine Ln. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 26 with one count of failure to appear. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • Terry Lee Smith, 45, of 1555 Sandy Ln. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 26 with one count of failure to appear. A $6,000 secured bond was set.
  • Sherrie Lynn Hedrick, 27, of 176 Dixon Cir. in Gastonia was charged Oct. 26 with one count of non-support family. A $300 bond was set.
  • Christopher Clayton Culpepper, 17, of 6251 Sherwood Ln. in Denver was charged Oct. 26 with one count of failure to appear. A $1,000 bond was set.
  • Connie Louise Stokes, 28, of 1401 Highland Bluff Ct. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 26 with one count of failure to appear. A $500 secured bond was set.
  • George Franklin Hults Jr., 42, of 973 Rufus Rd. in Denver was charged Oct. 26 with one count of failure to appear, for which a $2,000 secured bond was set, and charged Oct. 27 with two counts of probation violation, for which a $10,000 bond was set.
  • Sadarius Trumane Douglas, 19, of 738 Lakewood Dr. in Monore was charged Oct. 26 with one count each of felony larceny and conspiracy. A $2,500 bond was set.
  • Toni Danielle Sronce, 27, of 162 Shell St. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 27 with one count each of driving while impaired, driving while license revoked and resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer. A $3,000 secured bond was set.
  • Melissa Denise Brown, 20, of 1474 Goldrock Tr. in Maiden was charged Oct. 27 with one count each of simple assault on a handicapped person and communicating threats. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
  • Daniel Richard Stroupe III, 24, of 4627 King Wilkinson Rd. in Denver was charged Oct. 27 with one count each of first-degree trespassing and resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer. A $500 bond was set.
  • Ray Jackson Lambert, 31, of 1244 Oakbrook Ln. in Denver was charged Oct. 27 with one count of failure to appear. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
  • Timothy Edgar Alexander, 35, of 3634 Gladden Dr. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 27 with one count each of misdemeanor aiding & abetting and obtaining property by false pretenses. A $5,000 secured bond was set.
  • Ryan Charles Westberg, 28, of 7692 Sawdust Tr. in Denver was charged Oct. 27 with one count each of communicating threats and assault on a female by a male over 18 yrs. of age. No bond was set.
  • Michael Thomas Woods, 22, of 6515 Carver St. in Newton was served a true bill of indictment Oct. 27 for charges unknown at time of publication. A $20,000 bond was set.
  • Autumn Duhe McCreedy, 54, of 1216 Dorleath Ct. in Raleigh was charged Oct. 28 with one count each of driving left of center and driving while impaired. A $500 unsecured bond was set.
  • Vanessa Sue Edgerton, 40, of 423 Lee Ave. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 28 with one count each of trafficking in drugs, simple assault and injury to personal property. A $50,000 secured bond was set.
  • Terry Wilford Houser, 56, of 1817 Hines Circle Rd. in Stanley was charged Oct. 28 with one count each of simple assault and injury to personal property. No bond was set.
  • Gary Wayne Erricson, 46, of 7682 Sawdust Tr. in Denver was charged Oct. 28 with one count each of resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer and assault on a law enforcement officer. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
  • James Ernest Walls Jr., 38, of 3494 Eaker Rd. in Dallas was charged Oct. 28 with two counts of driving while license revoked. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
  • Miranda Jane Lamberth, 24, of 2682 Southmont Rd. in Iron Station was charged Oct. 28 with two counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute a schedule I controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture a schedule VI controlled substance. A $10,000 secured bond was set.

 The Lincolnton Police Department reported the following arrests:

  •  Jesse Lee Mungro, 29, of 4690 Sierra Dr. in Catawba was charged Oct. 26 with one felony count of obtaining property by false pretenses. A $2,300 secured bond was set.
  • Joey Dean Smith, 17, of 1100 E. Lincoln St. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 29 with one misdemeanor count of public affray. He was released on a written promise.
  • Jordan Bryant Tuno, 17, of 624 Hare’s Way in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 29 with one misdemeanor count of simple affray. He was released on a written promise.
  • Robert Christopher Green, 40, of 16-A Woodmont Cir. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 29 with one misdemeanor count each of possession of alcohol in a state park and giving a false report to a police station. A $1,000 secured bond was set.
  • William Coty Smith, 21, of 330 Salem Ch. Rd. in Lincolnton was charged Oct. 30 with failure to appear for one misdemeanor count each of illegal right turn on red, driving while license revoked/suspended and displaying a fictitious tag/registration plate. A $500 secured bond was set.
