Union VFD meeting
Residents of the Union VFD (Vale) district can now view copies of the agency’s updated bylaws at Hampton’s Grocery and Service Station, Cat Square Superette and Union VFD. Community choir

Board of Commissioners

Vehicle auction
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office will auction off five vehicle 11 a.m. at 700 John Howell Memorial Dr. in Lincolnton. Vehicles will be available for inspection at 10 a.m. Only cash payment will be accepted. For more information, call (704) 732-9050.

Lions Club
The Lincolnton Lions Club will meet 7 p.m. in the Elm Classroom of CMC-Lincoln’s Medical Plaza, 441 McAlister Rd. in Lincolnton. Guest speakers will be Former District Governor Marti Hill and Lions Club member Elise P. Smith. Individuals planning to eat should arrive early to eat in the cafeteria. A Board of Directors meeting will follow.

Dave Ramsey class

The Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District and other agricultural and conservation agencies will hold their annual Conservation Field Day for sixth grade students 9:15-11:25 a.m. and 12-2:10 p.m. at Betty Ross (South Fork) Park in Lincolnton. Stations will focus on water, soils, wildlife, forestry and agriculture.

Senior health seminar
Carillon Assisted Living of Lincolnton, 440 Salem Ch. Rd., will host a senior health fair with free screenings for people ages 50 and over 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call Tim Sullivan at (704) 732-0029.
