Mike and Bonnie Vincent

Mike and Bonnie Vincent were found in their home, Thursday, July 26, 2012.

Words cannot express the wound this has caused so many, but in honor of Mike and Bonnie, we are going to celebrate their lives.

Services will be held at Massapoag Baptist Church on August 4, 2012 at 3 p.m.

Nancy E. Boulware

STATESVILLE — Nancy E. Boulware, 44, daughter of M.D. and Nancy Stamey Boulware, died Saturday at her home in Statesville.

Family and friends are requested to gather at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 atWarlick Funeral Homein Lincolnton to then proceed to Hollybrook Cemetery for a 10:30 a.m. inurnment.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 4 p.m. at Forest Park Presbyterian Church in Statesville.

Nancy was a graduate of Statesville High School and attended Mitchell Community College. She worked in Health Care Services including many volunteer hours with the Iredell Rescue Squad.

She is survived by her beloved canine companion, “BJ”; mother Nancy; and brothers, Brad and Todd.

Stella Brite Martin Avery

Stella Brite Martin Avery, age 86, of Carillon Assisted Living in Lincolnton, died on Monday, July 30, 2012.

Her funeral service will be 3 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Avery was born July 15, 1926 in Lincoln County to the late Lee and Dessie Lackey Martin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Avery; a son, Mike Avery; three brothers and three sisters. She worked in textiles.

She is survived by three brothers, Dwight Martin of Lincolnton, Dennis Martin of Lake Okeechobee, Fla., and Harold Martin of Lincolnton; and one sister, Evelyn Humphries of Lincolnton.

Calvin Parker

4/29/1960 – 7/27/2012

Calvin Ray Parker, 52, of 611 North Drexel Road, Drexel, died Friday, July 27, 2012 at his residence.

Born April 29, 1960 in Neptune, N.J., he was a son of the late Lee Roy Parker and Hettie Lee Leatherman Parker Chiarchiaro. He was a truck driver for P.T.I.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Parker.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathryn LeAnn Parker, Erica Marie Parker Zambrano and Kimberly Nicole Parker all of Vale; five grandchildren, Noah Parker, Sophia Zambrano, Hector Zambrano, Trinity Owens, and Calvin Owens; a brother, Conley Parker of New Jersey; and two sisters, Ivetta Holland an
Myrene Hoffman both of New Jersey.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2012 at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston. Rev. Terrill Crump will be officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, Vale.

Johnnie Ann Seagle Collins

Johnnie Ann Seagle Collins, 75, of Mooresville, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.

She was born on May 10, 1937 in Homestead, Fla., to the late John and Annie Sain Seagle. She was a retired owner of a Christian bookstore. She was a member of Peninsula Baptist Church in Mooresville, where she has been a Sunday School teacher. Also sang with Magnify Choir. She chaired the Christian Women’s Association of Mooresville and raised three wonderful children.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas R. Collins; children, Janet Hamilton and husband, Gregory, Charles Christopher “Chris” Collins and wife, Cynthia Lynn, Andrew “Andy” Collins; brother, Robert Seagle and wife, Norma; and grandchildren, Genevieve, Caleb, and Calissa.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Peninsula Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert Jackson and Rev. David Simon officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn West in Charlotte. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peninsula Baptist Church Building Fund, 687 Brawley School Road, Mooresville, NC 28117.

Robert ‘Bud’ Clyde Anthony, 74, of Maiden died July 30, 2012.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. August 3, 2012 at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Jenkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on August 2, 2012 in the chapel.

John S. Edwards

John Shayle Edwards, 75, of Claremont died July 30, 2012.

A funeral service will be held August 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Claremont. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Burke Mortuary, Newton.

William Franklin Browne

William Franklin Browne, 57, of Gastonia died July 29, 2012.

A memorial service will be held today at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church. A private burial will be in City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Lorene Mace

Lorene Emma Carpenter Mace, 84, of Bessemer City, died July 29, 2012.

Funeral services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Puett Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family received friends July 31, 2012 at Carpenter’s Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
