The District Attorney’s Office has dismissed assault charges filed against an Iron Station man accused of using a knife to attack his wife during a dispute last month at their residence.
Terry Steven Vance, 52, engaged in an altercation with his wife and cut her arms with a kitchen knife, deputies previous told the Times-News.
While officers initially charged the man with assault with a deadly weapon and placed him in jail under a $1,500 secured bond, all charges have since been dropped, the Clerk of Court’s Office told the Times-News on Tuesday.
