Lincoln Charter School is making some staffing changes heading into the upcoming school year.

The growth of the school and the increased amount of administrative involvement were just a few of the reasons LCS will be welcoming new employees, while saying goodbye to none, Assistant Chief Administrator Jonathan Bryant told the Times-News last week.

Bryant was the Dean of Students and Athletic Director at the Lincoln Charter Denver campus, prior to his new position. He, along with three other staff members moved to different positions.

Daniel Schmitz left the Denver campus to become the Assistant Principal and Athletics Director at the Lincolnton branch.

Logan Spake advanced his coaching position at LCS to the Assistant Athletic Director spot, and Christina Williams transitioned from her Exceptional Children’s Teacher title to becoming the Dean of Students for the Denver campus.

LCS will be adding 10 new teachers to its team this school year.

“Re-positioning the talent to better serve our school community will hopefully be the end result that makes LCS more efficient and works better for our community,” Bryant said.

Bryant is confident the changes will help the school more efficiently serve students and parents, while addressing the school’s needs.
