Mary Haynes Bentley
Mary Haynes Bentley, 80, of Lincolnton, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 at Cardinal Health Care in Lincolnton.
Mrs. Bentley was born March 3, 1932 in Gastonia, N.C. to the late Summey and Beulah Bland Haynes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lincolnton.
Survivors include her husband; Thomas R. Bentley of the home, a daughter; Teresa Lynn Baxley and husband Jerry of Florence, S.C., a son; Thomas R. Bentley, Jr. and wife Sarah of Aiken, S.C., a brother; Charles Haynes of Gastonia, a sister; Barbara Gibby of Durham, grandchildren; Bryan Baxley, Elizabeth Rains, Robbie Bentley, Katie Bentley, Thomas Bentley and Joseph Bentley, and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lincolnton at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 with Elder Joe Bentley, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 855 Buffalo Shoals Rd., Lincolnton, N.C. 28092.

Judith Diane Ritchie
Judith Diane Ritchie went home to be with The Lord, Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 12:30 p.m.
She is survived by her loving husband John Dale Ritchie; children Ronald Dale Ritchie and spouse Monika Lewis Ritchie daughter Lynn Ritchie Ormand, spouse Kenny Ormand; and Mark Stephen Ritchie and spouse Terri Ritchie; and her grandchildren, Lauren Ormand, Amber Ritchie, Cole Cartee, Brittany Ormand, Hannah Ritchie, Holden Ritchie, Jordan Ritchie and Caleb Cartee. Surviving sisters are; Pam Hamilton, Karen Gann; and brother, Barry Brafford.
She loved her family and friends, her church and most importantly her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Services will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Iron Station, NC on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. The family will receive friends at 12 p.m. with the memorial service immediately following at 2 p.m. Officiating the services will be Rev. Mike Scott and son, Rev. Ronald Ritchie.

Barbara Mary Ludwig, 69, of Lincolnton died July 3, 2012.
There will no visitation or funeral services locally, with a memorial service in New Jersey at a later date.

Wilbur ‘Wick’ Turner
Wilbur ‘Wick’ Turner, 96, of Cherryville died July 6, 2012.
A funeral service was held at Carpenter’s Funeral Home, July 8, 2012 at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at North Baptist Church Cemetery.
