Cash Mob celebrates Independents
The Downtown Development Authority hosted a “Cash Mob” Saturday to promote shopping at independent downtown businesses in Lincolnton as part of its “Independents Days” promotion. Participants were encouraged to spend at least $10 at independently owned small businesses, including Plum Crazy where Mandi McClure and her son Tristan, 3, of Lincolnton, shop for children’s jewelry as the mob pours in.
