Police are on the hunt for a masked thief who used a gun to rob a Little Caesar’s Pizza employee Monday morning in the parking lot of the Lincolnton business.
The thief wore a ski mask as he threatened the woman in her car with what appeared to a handgun in the parking lot of the East Main Street location just before 10 a.m., Police Det. Sgt. Jason Munday said.
An undisclosed amount of money was stolen in the incident, police said.
Local officers called in Gaston County police to assist in a search of the masked robber, using a K-9 unit to track the suspect.
According to Lincolnton Police Chief Rodney Jordan, the initial search proved unsuccessful.
