A graveside service will be held today at 10 a.m. at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory. The family received friends, July 1, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Burke Mortuary in Newton.

Rebecca “Becky” Henley Hamilton, 60, of Maiden died, June 29, 2012.
A memorial service was held July 1, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Ruhama Baptist Church in Maiden. The family received friends at the church following the service.

Mable Harmon Neill
Mable Harmon Neill, 89, of Cherryville died, June 28, 2012.
The funeral service was held June 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Carpenter’s Funeral Home. Burial followed at Mary’s Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 12 noon until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

James Leonard Sigmon, 76, of Claremont died, June 28, 2012.
The funeral service was held on July 1, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church in Claremont. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 1:45 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

Beulah ‘Inez’ Homesley Rhyne
IRON STATION — Beulah “Inez” Homesley Rhyne, age 82, of 4806 E. Highway 27, in Iron Station, died on Friday, June 29, 2012.
Her funeral service will be 3 p.m. today at Pearl Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert Wensil and Rev. William Wease officiating. Burial will follow in the Iron Station Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Rhyne was born April 15, 1930 in Lincoln County, daughter of the late John Jacob and Edna Cloninger Homesley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Millard Rhyne; sisters, Marie Homesley Fourshee, Pauline Homesley Brown, Lucille Homesley Chronister, and Mandy Lee Homesley; brothers, John Henry (Bud) Homesley, Grover C. Homesley, and Robert J. Homesley; nephew, Johnny Homesley; and great-niece, Samantha Killian.
She was a faithful member of Pearl Baptist Church of which her family helped charter. She was a graduate of Lincolnton High School and was retired from JPS Industries, Inc.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lillian Homesley Sain; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Shirley Homesley; four nephews; six nieces; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
