The city of Cherryville will host an Independence Day Celebration Tuesday at the Downtown Mini-Park. The guest DJ is John Barkley and Jim Quick & The Coastline Band will be featured from 6-10 p.m. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m., and food vendors will be set up. Spectators are invited to bring lawn chairs.

The Last Man’s Club WWII Veterans of Lincoln County will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Fifth Third Bank to ride in the Fourth of July Parade in Lincolnton, which this year is dedicated to the WWII Veteran’s.
Downtown Crouse is hosting its annual Fourth of July parade at 4 p.m. July 4. The Crouse Volunteer Fire Department will be selling hot dogs, soft drinks and other snacks in front of the fire station. Spectators are invited to come watch or join in the parade.
The seventh annual Maiden Fourth of July Edith Pirkle Parade will take place 10:30 a.m. July 4. Participants will assemble at 10 a.m. at the Maiden Library. The parade ends at the Cornerstone FLC parking lot, and the program will begin there at 11:15 a.m. Anyone who wants to be in the parade can come and march. July 4th Celebration
The annual Fourth of July celebration in downtown Lincolnton will begin 6 p.m. July 4 with games and activities. The parade will begin at 8 p.m., followed by a memorial ceremony at 9:15 p.m. and fireworks at 9:35 p.m. at the Lincolnton High School stadium.
