Kayse Lauren Henley and Andrew Jordan Goodson were united in marriage Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church, Winston-Salem. Rev. Matt Rummage and Rev. Donald Cline officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jeff Henley and Dr. Suzanne Hilton and Tammy Bell, all of Winston-Salem. The bride’s grandparents are Jewell Henley and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bell. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University and is employed by Wake County Schools at Forestville Road Elementary.
The groom is the son of Chad and Glenda Goodson of Maiden. The groom’s grandparents are Rev. Grady Parker and Jan Goodson. He is a graduate of North Greenville University and is attending Southeastern Theological Seminary to obtain his Masters of Divinity.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jeff Henley. Matron of honor was Emaly Paules. Bridesmaids were Ashley Brower, Kira Caldwell, Jade Bunn, Brittany Nicholson, Brittany Crawford, Lacy Goodson, Mary Goodson and Hannah Guffey.
Best man was the groom’s father, Chad Goodson. Groomsmen were Jonathan Goodson, Adam William, Travis Osborne, Derek Queen, Bradley Atkins, Jesse Freeman, Aaron Cline and Mike McKinney.
Flower girls were Grace and Gabrielle Parker and Riley Frazer. Ring bearer was Hayden Frazer.
Music was performed by Jason Myers, April Rummage, and Richard Paules. The register attendants were Megan Helton and MacKenzie Hatfield. The wedding was directed by Amanda Hamilton.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Tanglewood Golf Club and hosted by Chad and Glenda Goodson. A reception was held at Tanglewood Golf Club Ballroom and was hosted by Jeff Henley and Dr. Suzanne Hilton.
A tea party was held and the couple had two household showers.
After a honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica the couple resides in Wake Forest.
