A West Lincoln High School student has been charged with indecent exposure, deputies said, after exposing his private parts to elementary school students aboard a stopped school bus.
The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. May 30 on the 200 block of Gainsville Church Road southwest of Lincolnton, the Sheriff’s Office said.
While standing on the front porch of a residence, Donald Jacob Conard, 18, of Pleasant Grove Church Road in Crouse, allegedly exposed himself to a group of Norris Childers Elementary School students while they were at a bus stop.
Deputies said the bus driver immediately called school officials, who contacted 911.
Conard was charged with one misdemeanor count of indecent exposure and has since been released on an unsecured bond.
West Lincoln High School Principal Cale Sain confirmed with the Times-News that Conard is enrolled at the school but would not discuss whether or not he’s been reprimanded for the alleged offense.
