All-SPC soccer team announced

Reavis anchors team with Player of the Year award

The Southern Piedmont Conference girls soccer coaches have released the 2012 All-SPC team.
The team is anchored by East Lincoln senior Adriene Reavis, who was selected Player of the Year, and Lake Norman Charter coach Justin Valenti, who took Coach of the Year honors. Reavis was also named All-Region and All-State.
She closed her career as the all-time leading goal scorer at East Lincoln with 62 career goals and set the single-season record this past season with 28 goals.
East Lincoln head coach Jason Dragoon was named the Region Coach of the Year and North Lincoln assistant coach Angie Wilson was nominated for Assistant Coach of the Year for state 2A schools.
Lincolnton added seniors Larissa Bonilla and Gracie Turner and junior Ivanette Ortiz to the All-Conference team. Bonilla was also selected to the All-Region team.
North Lincoln’s Melissa Lenentine, Sharla Sugierski, Anna Jackson and Calli Brown also made the lsit. Lenentine and Sugierski were also named All-Region.
West Lincoln’s Connor Sigmon and Katie Childers also made the All-Conference grade, with Childers earning All-Region honors.
East Lincoln’s Ciara Matner, Tatum Auvil, Dalton Bell and Christina Pitsikoulis were also named All-Conference. Matner and Auvil were also named All-Region.
