Police said culprits targeted a local high school this week and stole a number of electronics from one of the classrooms.
The incident occurred at Lincolnton High School sometime between 6 p.m. Sunday, when a police report noted the building was last secured, and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Thieves gained access into the building by breaking a classroom window, the report said.
Unfortunately no cameras or alarms were located in the part of the facility where the theft occurred, officers said.
Stolen in the incident were two sets of RCA speakers, a 3D SMART Board projector and an HD handheld camera.
The incident is under further investigation.
No arrests have been made at this time.
