Bonnie Sue Gilbert Crowder
Mrs. Bonnie Sue Gilbert Crowder, age 80, of 5958 Hoover Elmore Road in Lincolnton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 12, 2012.
Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at New Vision Ministries with Rev. Scott Mann officiating. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. tonight at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Crowder was born December 15, 1931 in Lincoln County to the late Walter and Bryte Holden Gilbert. She was retired from nursing.
Survivors include her husband, Don R. Crowder of the home; three sons, Gary Crowder and wife Sharon of Vale, Jimmy Crowder of the home and Stoney Alton Crowder of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Julie Annette Upton and husband Aaron of Vale, Dina Baxter and husband Kensy of Vale and Erin Bowden and fiance Scott Deal of Kannapolis; three great-grandchildren, Luke Upton, Millie Deal and Maddie Baxter.

Josephine G. Schronce
MAIDEN — Early in the morning of May 13, 2012, Josephine Gilleland Schronce, entered into her Heavenly Home 16 days short of her 93rd birthday at Palliative CareCenter & Hospice of Catawba Valley. Having been born May 29, 1919 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Latt Garfield Gilleland Sr. and the late Hettie Robinson Gilleland of Maiden.
Upon graduating from Sherrills Ford High School in 1936, she was married on August 20, 1938, raised a family and worked in textiles for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin F. Schronce (2/8/1983) after 44 years of marriage; a brother, Latt Gilleland Jr.; nephews, Daniel Gilleland, Michael Gilleland; and brother-in-law, Fred L. Drum.
She showed unending love and devotion to her family.
She is survived by her four children: Brenda Harvell Ford of Denver; Judy (Curtis) Neal of Lincolnton, Terry (Pat) Schronce of Lincolnton, and Dianne (Rodney) Beal of Maiden. Also surviving are seven loving grandchildren: Lisa, Susan, Rhonda, Jennifer, Gary, Lena and Amy; ten wonderful great-grandchildren: Tyler, Logan, Tanner, Rachael, Keely, Morgan, Nathan, Eli, Raegan and Olivia; sister: Pauline G. Drum of Maiden; sister-in-law: Laura Gilleland of Iron Station; niece: Donna (Rick) of Fla.; and nephew: Stephen of Ga.
The funeral service will be held today at 5:30 p.m. at Mt. View Baptist Church in Maiden with Rev. Raymond Hamrick and Chaplain Larry Bolick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 4:15 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. at the church prior to the service.

Belton Paul Wilson Jr.
Belton Paul Wilson Jr., age 80, of Lincolnton passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012, at CMC-Lincoln. He was born March 26, 1932 in Lincoln County to the late Belton Paul Wilson Sr. and Tease Wilson.
He was a member of Moores Chapel Baptist Church and a tie operator in the textile business.
He is survived by four sons, Belton Paul Wilson III of Fallston, Walter Lee Wilson and his wife Ladonna of Lincolnton, Michael Todd Wilson of Lincolnton, and Corey Lamont Wilson and his wife Jennifer of Raleigh; one step-son, Freddie Bess and his wife Christine of Lincolnton; two daughters, Sandra Wilson and Ann Mayfield Hamilton, both of Lincolnton; fifteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Moores Chapel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Reverend Albert Hillman will officiate.
