Lions Club

Relay For Life
Relay for Life Lincolnton will have a team meeting 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Lincolnton. Canned good items will be collected.

Child Find
The Lincoln County Exceptional Children’s Resource Center will host “Child Find: Children Ages Birth to 5 Years” 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Kiser Intermediate School, 301 Jeb Seagle Dr. in Lincolnton. The program identifies children who need early intervention or special education services. Wine/Art Fest
The Downtown Development Association will host Loveable Lincolnton Wine & Art Fest 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The event will feature wine tasting, artisans, entertainment and food vendors. Denver Support Group
The Denver Support Group will not meet Monday (March 19). The meeting has been changed to 6 p.m. March 26 in Oak Classroom 1 and 2 of the Lincoln Medical Arts Building, 441 McAlister Rd. in Lincolnton (adjacent to the hospital).

Literary competition
The Arts Council of Lincoln County is holding its annual Flo Robinson Literary Competition. Entries may be poetry or prose and must be postmarked to the Arts Council by March 28. For more information on competition rules and guidelines, call (704) 732-9044.

Pathways scholarships
Deadline to apply for a $1,000 Gaston College scholarship from Pathways Services is March 31. Applicants must have completed the 40-hour Peer Support Specialist training at Pathways and be a resident of Lincoln, Cleveland or Gaston County. Drama camp
The Lincoln Theatre Guild now has registration forms available online at lincolntheatreguild.com for Lincoln Drama Camp, entitled “iMusic Time Capsule: Music Through the Decades”.  Camp is available to rising 2nd-12th grade students. O’Neal Scholarship
The Lincoln County Cooperative Extension is currently taking applications for the Herter O’Neal Scholarship. Eligible participants include county high school seniors who plan to major in business. Students from Lincoln County School of Technology and Gaston College’s Lincoln Campus may also apply. Class reunion
