Herman, Myers Wedding

Mrs. Andrew Hampton Myers

Leslie Victoria Herman and Andrew Hampton Myers were united in marriage on October 15, 2011 at 6 p.m. at St. Matthew’s UCC, Maiden. Rev. Ray Jachowski and Rev. Jeremy Varner officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Anthony and Terri Herman of Maiden. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Leslie K. Frye, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lancaster, and the late Mack Herman. Leslie is a 2011 NCSU Valedictorian graduate and is currently a student at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg.

The groom is the son of Dickie and Kim Myers of Salisbury. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Morgan, Mrs. Lorriane Myers, and the late Hampton Myers. Andrew is a 2011 NCSU honor graduate and is currently employed by Baldor Electric in Greenville, S.C.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Anthony. Maid of honor was Miss Lillie Sims, Lake City, Fla., cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Karis Van Althuis, sister of groom, Greenville, Mrs. Anna Sunderland, Knoxville, Tenn., Miss Peyton Pressley, Raleigh, Miss Jenny Powers, Raleigh, all friends of the bride.

The best men were Mr. Dickie Myers, father and Mr. Jesse Myers, brother, both of Salisbury. Groomsmen were Mr. Daniel Myers, Salisbury, brother of the groom; Mr. Mack Herman, Charlotte, brother of the bride; Steve Gautchi, Atlanta, Ga.; Daniel Lloyd, Atlanta Ga.; Shawn Lloyd, Salisbury, Zach Gonzales, Raleigh; all friends of the groom

Music was performed by Mrs. Laura Warren, on piano, of Cherryville and Mack Herman, on saxophone, performed the wedding march for his sister.

Register attendants were Miss Katie Wray, Lincolnton and Miss Kristina McGinnis, Raleigh. The wedding was directed by Mrs. Hilda Shrum and Mrs. Carla Goodson, both of Lincolnton.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Snider hosted the wedding supper and dancing in the church fellowship hall.

After a honeymoon to the mountains in Jefferson the couple resides in Spartanburg, S.C.
