Funeral services will be held Feb. 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Burke Mortuary, Newton. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery in Newton. The family will receive friends Feb. 25, 2012 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.

James Herve Lovin
James Herve Lovin, age 77, of Lincolnton, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Born February 18, 1935 in Graham County, Robbinsville; he was the son of the late Clyde and Valerie Lovin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles Herve Lovin.
Survivors include his wife, Shelby Jean Parker Lovin of Lincolnton; daughters, Sheila Lovin of Charlotte, Tina Lovin Ramsey and husband, Jerry of Lincolnton and Lana Lovin of Lincolnton; grandchildren,Â Â Â Â Â Joshua Daniel Ramsey of Pasadena, CA and Â Â Â Â Â Â James Markus Ramsey of Lincolnton
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

MAIDEN â€” Tracy Leon Creech, Jr., age 43, of Blandwood Lane, Maiden passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at his residence.
Born July 1, 1968 in Jefferson Co., Ky., a sister, Sandra Creech Varner and nephew, Ethan J. Varner preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are mother and stepfather, Brenda and Michael Overcash of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C; father and stepmother, Tracy Sr. and Donna Creech of Bedford, Ky.; two half-brothers, Christopher Creech and Joshua Creech of Bedford, Ky.
The funeral service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden with Pastor Charles Worley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends, prior to the service, from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Johnny â€œJohnâ€ Wayne Rollins, age 44, of 1220 Mirror Lake Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St. Paulâ€™s Lutheran Church in Hardin with Pastor Sherrill Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. tonight atWarlick Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of Jenny Eudy, 3792 Gastonia Highway in Lincolnton.
Mr. Rollins was born March 13, 1967 in Lincoln County to Johnny and Pat Bost Rollins.Â He was the previous owner of Rollins Automotive Service.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Robinson Rollins of the home; one daughter, Shelby Faye Rollins; one son, Seth John Rollins of the home; one sister, Wendy Hovis and husband Mike of Lincolnton; one brother, Michael Sloan Rollins of N.Y.; and parents, Johnny and Pat Rollins of Lincolnton.
