3 of 38 still at large in drug roundup

Three alleged drug dealers continue to elude law enforcement officials following last month’s countywide round up entitled Operation .38 Special.
Timothy Shontay Baxter Jr., 32, of 133 Laura Jeanne Ln. in Statesville, was the most recent arrest made in the effort, authorities said.
According to deputies, Baxter turned himself in to authorities on Monday. He’s been charged with one-count each of selling and delivering cocaine and possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Cocaine. According to the Sheriff’s Office website, he’s since been released from the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center on a $10,000 secured bond.
Authorities began the operation on Jan. 26 with aid from the United States Marshals Service. The effort resulted in more than 20 arrests. A total of 38 individuals were indicted in the operation for allegedly using and selling heroin, cocaine, marijuana and prescription pills, among other substances, investigators said.
The following individuals remain at-large:
Anthony Thomas Caffrey Jr., 50, of 1131 S. Aspen St. in Lincolnton, is wanted for two-counts each of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver methadone and selling and delivering Methadone along with one-count each of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Oxycodone and selling and delivering oxycodone.
Brent Allen Stidham, 34, of 2136 Shuford Rd. in Lincolnton, is wanted for one-count each of selling and delivering a counterfeit controlled substance and possession with intent to sell and deliver a controlled substance.
Cassey Leigh Tutterow, 21, of 519 Katherine Ave. in Kings Mountain, is wanted for three counts each of selling and delivering cocaine and possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine along with one-count each of conspiracy, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Alprazolam and selling and delivering Alprazolam.
