One week after two men with ski masks attempted to rob the Goodwill store in Lincolnton, city police are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspects.
Police have released still shots taken from the store’s video surveillance during the incident, which occurred just before 9 p.m. on Jan. 13.
An employee told the Times-News in an interview earlier this week that he was emptying trash into a dumpster at the back of the store when the two men approached him, one flashing a knife.
No one was hurt in the incident, and no items were taken from the store, police said.
The suspects fled the property after the employee said he called 911 and yelled at the men to escape the area.
