Runaway teen found, boyfriend arrested

A runaway teen who left her western Lincoln County foster home Wednesday was located Friday at her boyfriend’s home in Burke County.
Local Sheriff’s authorities said Burke County deputies located Molly Eileen Hill, 15, of the 800 block of North N.C. Highway 18, at 18-year-old Jonas Kelly Dellinger’s home in Morganton.
The teens were apparently dating, deputies said. In addition, Dellinger has been charged with aiding Hill in the incident, according to a press release.
He is expected to appear in Burke County district court next month for one-count of contributing to a juvenile’s being delinquent and undisciplined.
Hill has been returned to the area and will eventually be handed over to juvenile authorities, a release said. Sheriff’s Det. Matt Burgess is currently working toward securing a custody warrant in the incident.
Authorities are still on the hunt for another missing teen, 16-year-old Krysha Elizabeth “Kitt” Allen, of Belmont. She was last seen at her father’s Denver residence on Dec. 28. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Lincoln County Communications Center at (704) 732-8202, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at (704) 732-9050 or Crime Stoppers at (704) 736-8909.
