Hesed House Opening
Hesed House of Hope, Lincoln Countyâ€™s homeless shelter, is now open for the winter season.Â The shelter is located at 100 Ann Gaither Court, Lincolnton.Â Guests wishing to stay overnight at the shelter should arrive at 6:00 each evening.Â Anyone wanting to volunteer to provide a meal or spend the night should contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
In My Fatherâ€™s House
In My Fatherâ€™s House will open at their new location on 119 Vandiver Dr. in Lincolnton Dec. 22. The first 20 families will receive a Christmas dinner food box. The community support organization is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Art & Craft Show
Crafterâ€™s Corner will host its art and craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 22 & 23 at G. E. Massey Elementary School, 130 Newbold St. in Lincolnton. St. Paulâ€™s Lutheran Church of Crouse, Old Hwy. 150 in Crouse, is having its candlelight Christmas Eve service at 11 p.m. on Dec. 24. Everyone is cordially invited.

Winter Baseball Skills
Triple Crown Sport is hosting a winter baseball skills camp every Sunday for six weeks, Jan. 7 through Feb. 11. Cost is $110. Registration deadline is Dec. 20. ELHS head baseball coach Chris Matile is directing the camp.
