Amanda Rachelle Johnson and Kevin Jeffrey Coggins were married October 15, 2011 at Stone Haven Farm in Iron Station. Luke Green officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Pam Johnson of Vale, and the granddaughter of Guyann Johnson and the late Bud Johnson of Vale and Margaret and Clyde Brown of Cherryville. She graduated from Appalachian State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration. Amanda is a Compliance Consultant with Wells Fargo in Charlotte.
The groom is the son of Jeff and Karen Coggins of Statesville, and the grandson of the late Sterling and Dot Coggins and the late Lee and Lucy Norton. He graduated from Gardner-Webb University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Kevin works with the State of North Carolina.
Amanda was given in marriage by her father with Christina Williard Brown serving as the Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Caldwell Brown, Gayren Leonhardt Handy, Melissa Buff Darling, Barbara Marie Sain, Cheryl Coggins Brawley, sister of the groom.
The best man was Phillip Douthit. Groomsmen were Sean Wooten, David Holmes, Gregg Kirkman, and John Stonestreet.
Flower girls were Lily and Hannah Brawley, nieces of the groom. Ring bearer was Luke Brawley, nephew of the groom. Music was performed by Loretta Beam and Libby Baxter, and Allison and Luke Green. Special readings by Maria Myers and Erin Poling. Register attendant was Kendra Moose. The wedding was directed by Lynn Johnson.
A dinner reception was held at Stone Haven Farm in Iron Station hosted by the brideâ€™s parents Bruce and Pam Johnson. A rehearsal dinner was also held at Stone Haven Farm. Two bridal showers were hosted by family and friends of the bride and groom.
After a honeymoon to Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Denver.
