The Denver and Lincolnton locations of the Lincoln County Farmers Market will conclude their season with a special holiday market. The date is Saturday, November 19.
The Denver market is located at Rock Springs Elementary School on Highway 16. It will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 12 noon.
Refreshments will be available for customers beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The Lincolnton location is at 225 West Water Street in Lincolnton. This is just a short distance from the James W. Warren Citizens Center. This market will open from 7:00 a.m. until 12 noon. Refreshments will be available beginning at 9:00 a.m.
There will be fall vegetables, eggs, locally raised meats, baked goods and a variety of craft items for sale between the two markets.  So you can start buying for your Thanksgiving feast and shop for some special Christmas gifts.  Handmade soap is one popular gift for friends and co-workers that is unique and modestly priced. We anticipate that a wide variety of crafts will be at the Denver market.
If you are looking for a specific item, please call us at Cooperative Extension (704-736-8452) and we’ll be glad to tell you which market is most likely to have it.
Lincoln County Cooperative Extension Agent Kevin Starr said, “On behalf of the vendors, I want to thank all of you who came out to support our markets this year.   I hope you’ll join us for a special day at our holiday markets on Saturday, November 19.â€
