Craft Show 2011
St. Lukeâ€™s Lutheran Church, 4051 King Wilkinson Rd. in Lincolnton, will host a craft show 6-8 p.m. today. A wide variety of fall, winter and Christmas crafts will be available along with candy and baked items. Soup and sandwiches will also be available for purchase.
The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meets 6:30 p.m. today on the third floor of the Citizens Center, 115 W. Main St. in Lincolnton. The Lincoln County Planning Board will also meet at this time. Both meetings are open to the public.

Red, White and You
North Lincoln High School Band of Knights will give their final performance of their 2011 field show â€œRed, White and Youâ€ 7 p.m. Tuesday at the school stadium. The award winning show pays tribute to the anniversary of 9-11 and to armed forces and civil servants. The event is free and open to the public.
The Lincoln County Schools Board of Education meets 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the BOE offices on North Generals Boulevard in Lincolnton. The primary purpose of this meeting is to receive public input on three options for school board seats redistricting. The redistricting options are available for review on the Lincoln County Schools website.

Veterans Day Parade
The Lincolnton Veterans Day parade is 11 a.m. Friday. Lineup will be at Fifth Third bank on East Main Street. Following the parade, a brief ceremony will be held on the East side of the courthouse. For more information, call (704) 735-2821.
Singing the Blues
Cool John Ferguson and Capt. Luke with the Music Maker Foundation will perform 7 p.m. Friday at the Lincoln Cultural Center, E. Main Street in Lincolnton. Admission is $12 adults and $10 for seniors and students.

Healthy holiday foods will be presented 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the Citizens Center, 115 W. Main St. in Lincolnton.
